SMTF at the Community Council's Conference
On Tuesday 26th June, Somerset Market Town Forum took part in the annual Community Council for Somerset's Conference at the Exchange, Bridgwater.
Officers Matt Day and Jane Wilson attended, Matt presenting on the work of the Forum and this new website and Jane introducing three workshop sessions, part of our 'Community Ventures' training and consultancy project.
These were on Start-up guidance, Community Buildings (asset management and development) and Income Generation (moving from grant dependency to financial independence). There were over 80 delegates in the sessions.
