Mendip consultation for Sustainable Community Strategy and LDF Core Strategy

Mendip District Council is currently running 'Time to Plan', a major consultation that aims to get local people engaged in planning for the future of the District.

It will inform two key plans for the area - The Mendip Sustainable Community Strategy and the Local Development Framework Core Strategy by understanding what people value or want changed in the places where they live, work or visit, public service organisations can make better informed decisions that reflect longer term community aspirations.

It follows on from a first phase of workshops and consultations last year, and includes the aim of producing 'Visions' for each of Frome, Glastonbury, Street, Wells and Shepton Mallet.

If you are eligible to take part please do and let others know before the 29th January. This is a key phase of work in the District that will both affect Towns and should respond to existing Community/Town Plans.
