- Axbridge is on the A371 between Weston-super-Mare and Wells. Recently published its Parish Plan.
- Burnham-on-Sea & Highbridge

- The Burnham on Sea & Highbridge Regeneration Partnership was set up by local residents and businesses in June 2005, as a focus for the local community in the preparation of a Community Strategic Plan.
- Castle Cary

- Castle Cary Town Council have taken lead responsibility for developing the projects that came out of the local community plan - Castle Cary and Ansford Plan - known as CAnPLAN.
- Chard

- Chard - Action for Chard Town
- Crewkerne

- Crewkerne is situated nine miles south west of Yeovil and seven miles east of Chard in South Somerset district. The town lies on the River Parrett, A30 road and trains from the town go to London Waterloo and Exeter. A Better Crewkerne & District (ABCD) produced its Community Plan in Feb 2007.
- Frome
- Vision for Frome, a Market & Coastal Town initiative, has recently been formed.
- Ilminster

- Ilminster is a market town in South Somerset with about 2,300 households and a population of about 5,000. Located close to the Devon, Dorset, Somerset border the town lies just south of the A303, 12 miles from Taunton, 15 miles from Yeovil and 20 miles from the south coast.
- Langport

- The historic town of Langport claims to be the smallest town in England. Langport and all the villages that surround it are linked by the network of country lanes and droves that make up the picturesque Somerset Levels.
- Martock

- Martock M3 Community Regeneration Partnership has received support from the Market & Coastal Towns Association
- Minehead

- Minehead was one of the first MCTi towns in the South-West. Four years on, some of the projects identified in the MCTi process are becoming reality.

- Williton is a village in West Somerset. It has many of the facilities of a small town, being the administrative centre for the district.
- Wincanton

- Situated on the main A303 London to Penzance trunk road, Wincanton enjoys excellent road links and is in an enviable position for exploring this attractive corner of rural England. Wincanton People's Plan was launched in April 2007
- Wiveliscombe

- Wiveliscombe is a former borough, market and cloth making town to the west of Taunton and 5 miles from the Devon /Somerset border. It is situated at the foot of the Brendon Hills and acts as a gateway to Exmoor. While the population of this rural centre is only about 2,500 persons, its shops and services meet the needs of a much larger population, spread through the western fifth of Taunton Deane, in scattered farms and villages.
